7 actions of a freelancer if there are a lot of orders
More recently, I wrote, what to do if there are no orders or small. Today we’ll talk about the “reverse side of the coin."
The issue is relevant and exciting. And many freelancers do not know what to do and, as a result, work and work and work, the tension rises, nervous breakdowns, problems in life ...
If you know how to work with the clientele and do your job well and efficiently, then sooner or later the moment comes when more work than hours in a day, and refusing to customers is not convenient.
Therefore, in this article I will try to collect all the methods I know (some have been tried by me, some I have heard from other freelancers I respect) and bring the methods together.
So what can you do:
Well, those who know how to supplement my article - I propose to do this in the comments. I will be very grateful and bring them.

So what can you do:
- Transfer work to others. Try to find freelancers of their specialization and transfer work to them. You can also find yourself "apprentices" and do the work with their hands, making a profit. However, be prepared for the fact that you will have to spend a lot of time training these people, otherwise customers will understand that the work is not done by you
- Refuse orders. Not the best solution, but sometimes it is useful if you are fed up with work or there is no time at all for it. Sometimes it's better to refuse than to take up an order and not make it and let the customer down
- Raise prices. This cuts off customers who are not very interested in you. By raising prices, orders will be reduced, but due to a change in price, total revenue will not decrease, but even on the contrary, it will increase. The main thing is to know the measure. The price should not "jump" at times
- Take only interesting orders for yourself
- Use the services of a project manager. Not all freelancers have the necessary skills in communicating with clients and selling their work. This will allow you to get more time for a “clean” job.
- Put the customer before a choice. The essence of this action is to “force” the customer to outbid you. If there are several parallel orders, inform the customer that another customer offers more money for similar work (if this is true) and you are interested in taking that order, not this one. It works only for very experienced freelancers who have proven their professionalism in practice
- Work, work, work .. If you are a fan of work and do not want to do anything other than work, then this option is for you. However, I would advise him in the latter very much because there will be no time left for personal life
