The same blogger

Probably about a year ago, and maybe more, I read a lot of books on personal development, improvement, time management. I didn’t have a blog then, and I just put everything in the endless fields of the Internet in the mail. This was a golden time when I was not yet infected with the graphomania virus (hi yanewegi ), and when I enjoyed reading other people's blogs. In order to obtain interesting information, and not with the goal of seeing how others have done this, and how to fasten such a little thing to yourself.

Then I came across one, by that time a blogger, with a cool name. But he was remembered not so much by my name as by the fact that he read the same books as me, and the thoughts expressed by him were close enough to me. And this week, I signed up for the next web 2.0 service and at the very first look at the profiles of those who are already there, I stumble upon my old virtual “acquaintance” . Of course, I remembered him, thanks to the name of his magazine. Went through the history, as if he. The fact that social networks have given a new opportunity to communicate, including with those with whom our communication was previously fundamentally impossible, is already gradually getting used to it. I wanted to discuss a slightly different issue here. The issue of social identification.

Earlier (100 years ago), when two grandmothers were sitting on a bench, spat on the husk of seeds, then to identify someone in their gossip they said:

“Well this one, Maruska.” Well shaw you face wrinkled surprised? Maruska, daughter of Pankrat the miller.

That is, for identification, Name + Patronymic, well, or Name + occupation was used. And that was enough. Then, with an increase in the number of connections of an individual with his own kind, for the public identification they began to use a full name.

Further, with the development of "multimedia" media - newspapers, radio, television, for public identification of people, in addition to their names, they began to use their visual, sound images, or those programs in which they participated. For example: well, this Davydov with the voice of Levitan. Or Prostopupkin from the movie "The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids." If it comes to working relationships, then it's time to remember about this type of social identification as a surname plus a place of work - Ivanov from the main trust. All this is enough to determine who is in question.

And then the era of the Internet began, bringing anonymity, projects, blogs. And two people can argue in ICQ to erased fingers and a crushed keyboard. Who better burns tigris from "odnoplanennikov" or mamalygin from "rake shipping". Moreover, this is one and the same person. Public identification has become difficult. From here, apparently, the ideas of Windows passports and OpenID arise. Only the guys forget that what is good for the computer is not always convenient for the user. Maybe that's why I liked the idea of http://BestPersons.ru so much . By its clarity, customizability (I want to turn it on, I want to not), binding to the usual username, which you can remember.

If any of what I wrote here is correct, then the guys have a chic prospect for the development of their startup (maybe they will agree to give a couple of shares to offset this article :)). On the implementation, of course, you can argue, and probably even improve. But then she is beta. The project is lively, questions are answered almost instantly, so further development is more likely a matter of time.

But in the place of writers / readers, I would hasten to hammer a better name for myself.
