One hundred billion free minutes

    One hundred billion people have lived on planet Earth in its entire history. If each of them talked for a minute on the phone, then it would have turned out the very amount that the Skype service solemnly announced .

    It was 100 billion minutes that the users of the Skype program spoke for four and a half years of its existence. This means only free minutes will connect between two Skype.

    Free communication allows people to talk an order of magnitude more than they are used to. In such conditions, communication sessions that last for hours or even days long become completely normal. Many calls would never have been made if not for the free call. In other words, Skype has really changed our reality and has already irreversibly changed the future of mankind.

    At the moment, the service has 276 million registered users, and in the last quarter this number increased by about 30 million.
