Photo tour of the 2016 MakerFaire 2016 in Shenzhen, part 1

A couple of days ago, the exhibition MakerFaire 2016, which was held in China, in the city of Shenzhen, ended. China is a recognized leader in electronics, and the city of Shenzhen can be called the capital of electronics in China. Therefore, this event is doubly interesting - to look at the novelties of the DIY electronics and robotics market.
We have already talked about the MakerFaire exhibition in 2015 , so it will be interesting to see the differences this year.
And in the photo - a girl with the nickname "sexy cyborg", a resident of Shenzhen, and a fan of electronics, DIY and 3D printing (yes, and she has two mini kopter on her hand).
Let's start from the very beginning - the entrance to the exhibition, and the hands of an alien :)

Seeed Technology
Immediately after entering, on the right, we see the stand of many well-known Seeed studios.

That offers many sets for DIY electronics.

Grove is one of the most famous of its sets, the classic Arduino kit is also on the left, and on the right is a variety of DIY gadgets.

Here we see the Quirkbot set , and also an interesting project of a mini computer based on RPi (a child with a mouse plays it) - Piper
Piper is an educational project that combines the game (Minecraft), electronics, and programming.

We look further at the Seeed booth:

small Arduboy game consoles - a game console for 8-bit games based on the Arduino.
Here is a picture to understand the dimensions of the Arduboy :

On a kickstarter a couple of months ago this baby scored more than $ 400k, of the declared $ 25k
Chaihuo Make Space
On the other side of the street is the stand of Chaihuo Makerspaces

About which we have already told .

they also offer kits for children

and robots that are interesting both for adults and children
Robots musicians
The stand with robots-musicians deserves special attention:

Bigface
This is an entertainment stand rather than an electronics one, but a rather original solution :)

STM32
The stand of the great ST is stylishly decorated; gadgets and boards for development are presented:

Intel
Intel giant had a separate stand: by the way

, let's pay attention to the tile - which creates the effect of a wave, probably only the patience of the Chinese allowed to carve such tiles .. there

are robots for primary education, and an umbrella from Intel
Makeblock
Makeblock - a resident of Shenzhen and a manufacturer of iron constructors, could not help but present his booth with various robo-iron pieces from his designer:

uArm
uArm - a project from ufactory.cc (resident of Shenzhen) - also provided its booth at MakerFair:

Mitch altman
There was a booth at the popularization of the Hackspace movement - the legendary Mitch Altman:

we published his presentation
What is hackspace .
Here are his sets:

We recognize the classic Drawdio kit - the simplest music synthesizer that anyone can solder.
We see a set of POV - with which you can draw inscriptions in the air. And a few other sets and pictures of soldering instructions for beginners - read about these projects and download these instructions here .
The exhibition is quite large, the review in two parts - the end of the first part.
And thanks to targence (from the Litchee Lab hackspace ) forprovided material .
