People are trying to make money on domains related to the US tragedy
A few hours after the tragedy in Virginia (USA), people began to register the corresponding domains. Dozens of people have purchased domains like vatechbloodbath.com, virginiatechmurders.com and blacksburgmassacre.com. Several domains were immediately put up for sale at the eBay online auction.
Some of the other auctioned domains are: vtechkilling.com, vamassacre.com, vatechcarnage.com, virginia-tech-rampage.com. The price of one domain ranged from a few hundred to tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars for the opportunity to buy it without bargaining.
Owners advertised domains like this: "a great domain for a memorial site." However, the eBay administration subsequently deleted most of the lots that might have seemed offensive.
