The beauty of the cosmic routine

Early in the morning of September 7, the Soyuz TMA-20M landed with astronauts Alexei Ovchinin and Oleg Skripochka and astronaut Jeffrey Williams. Landing was broadcast online and photographed. There are many similar photos from different flights, but this repetitive space routine, in my opinion, is still beautiful. These photos were taken by the staff of the Cosmonauts Training Center for them. Yu.A. Gagarin.
Shooting is from a helicopter, even though the descent vehicle is still higher, but the height is already small, a kilometer or two.

After the parachute opens, the ship hangs on its side for a while, then it is messed up onto a symmetrical suspension and goes down to the bottom.

It was four o'clock in the morning in Moscow, but it had recently dawned in Kazakhstan.

The dust below is a search and rescue machine. "Union" does not sit down perfectly, but the cars manage to drive pretty quickly.

It’s too early for snow, it’s most likely salt marshes.

Helicopters will be at the landing site immediately.

Dust from triggered engines soft landing

Landing on the "Union" - a little lottery. If you are lucky, the ship will touch the ground very gently and will remain standing upright. There was less luck.

Search and rescue teams are already at the ship.

A displacement tank is visible in the top of the manhole, which protects the parachute compartment from being filled with water when landing.

Action cameras are now constantly being carried into space, we are waiting for even more beautiful video.

The smell of the Earth, watermelons or, for example, dumplings - you manage to miss all this for six months in orbit

Mi-mi-mi.
