"Brand leapfrog" continues

    The company Microsoft continues to try to mislead analysts, journalists and ordinary people are changing the name of its services. The widespread use of the Live brand, which is expected by observers from the moment it was born, has not yet become a reality, and moreover, some services are returning to using the MSN name.

    This week revealed two interesting returns for this brand. The proprietary wireless network of Internet access Windows Live WiFi again became known as MSN WiFi, and Windows Live Shopping turned into MSN Shopping .

    Let me remind you that the MSN Soapbox service was introduced a little earlier : its name also raised questions.

    Such a "brand leapfrog" makes one wonder what marketing strategy Microsoft has chosen - and whether it exists at all.
