YouTube allows users to record videos directly to the site
Youtube today added a new chip to the site. It's called Quick Capture , and with it, users can record video directly from their webcams. Publishing your videos is even easier.
The Quick Capture tool uses the Adobe Flash Player API to connect to webcams. First, the user must give the player the right to use the camera and microphone. This will have to be done every time before recording. Once the permissions are issued, the user needs to choose the type of connection with the camera and microphone: DV, FireWire or USB.
After entering the name, description, tags and categories you need to click the "Record" button. Videos are recorded directly to the site, without transcoding. In fact, now for recording you only need a web browser with a flash installed.
