SmartProgress 3.0 - the next step
The new version has undergone major changes. Not only external, but also internal. Habit goals, a new interface, sub-steps, and more are available right now.
Since launching in 2012, we have received many wishes from you. One wish has haunted us almost since our discovery. These are habit goals.
If an ordinary target has many stages and sub-steps, then in the habit-goal there is only a description and a panel of marks. The main purpose is to celebrate your progress in any skills and fixing habits.
Rule one: you must every day (or on your chosen days) set a mark on the consolidation of the habit. If there is no mark, then the progress is reset and the habit starts from the beginning. The goal habit automatically ends successfully after setting the last mark. Early habit can not be completed.
For a long time, only another goal could be made. We changed this format, now at the stage you can make independent sub-steps, while the functionality of hierarchical goals remains.
When designing a new page for adding goals, we were guided by the principle of simplicity and versatility. Most of all, we wanted to make a convenient mode for displaying time frames, without unnecessary clicks and actions. Now time frames are always visually with us and help to understand the scale of the goal and the duration of the various stages.
This summer, we conducted usability testing, which showed that the structure of the site has some problems. Our team decided to combine all the pages related to the user in one place. We hope that this will simplify the work and increase the threshold for new users.
The new structure pulled a whole wagon of changes: new messages, a news feed, a friends page, and of course a personal profile. When developing, we tried to take into account our previous experience.
Coaches and coaches will be interested in our new customer support product. We took into account the wishes that were received when testing the first version and spent a lot of work on the interface.
