Thirteen Assyrian characters color the Chrome browser tab on Mac OS

There is nothing absolute in the world, including absolutely safe and stable browsers. But surprisingly, it is still possible to “kill” the browser tab using the characters on the page. A few days ago, one developer discovered that thirteen Assyrian characters lead to a crash of the Chrome browser page for Mac PC, techworm.net reports .
Below is an image of a “code” of thirteen characters typed in Assyrian font:

The combination of these characters works only on a Mac and only for the Chrome browser. A bug report has already been started for this error, you can familiarize yourself with it here , however, if you are reading this text from Chrome on a Mac, then this is not recommended.
The bug report of Matt S., the developer who discovered this problem, was flagged as a duplicate, therefore, Google is aware of the existing problem and is already working to resolve it.
Actually, the report itself:

Crash-ID error lies here: chrome: // crashes d043b37f53c2436f. Users tell Google that going to the page with these characters does not always lead to the tab dropping, but instead of the Assyrian font, only empty squares are visible, like on old smartphones, when receiving emoticons from new iOS or android devices.
A mistake looks small and inconsequential, but in capable hands it can cause serious inconvenience. For example, if you place these thirteen characters through a popular Twitter or Facebook account, then when downloading a feed, most Chrome users on Mac and iOS will encounter a page crash.
As Matt S. put it: “This is very serious. Imagine that someone starts spamming these characters in Hangouts or Gmail, which leads to the forced crash of the pages of all Chrome users attacked by Mac. ”
