Perhaps I missed something, then I’ll sprinkle ash on my head and delete this post, but the last announcement regarding user rights was published on Habré on March 21 and it talked about the Read & Comment function (the ability to write comments with subsequent moderation from the author of the article) .
No other changes were reported in the system of registration and access to Habr.
Meanwhile, some new accounts seem to be free to comment on posts without moderating comments.

In recent days, I began to notice that users appeared in the comments who were not invited by either UFOs or any of the users. Moreover, the registration date is the last couple of days. It's strange, I thought, because they comment actively, and sometimes the comments are such that if they were moderated, they would hardly have passed it.

First one, then the second ... Moreover, such accounts did not have the magic "Read only" in the profile. If a person leaves at least one approved comment, then such an inscription is removed, but still there are too many such users in recent days ...

Then I took a terrible step and asked my friend to register. I apologize in advance if I violated any rules for using the resource, but my curiosity outweighed it.
The result was this urlik_the_test, which also has no Read only status.
Moreover, I went into one of my old publications and left a comment there . He appeared without any moderation.



At the same time, old accounts registered for a relatively long time cannot write comments - in my recent publication a bunch of comments on pre-moderation fell out for me.

Perhaps the fact is that the registration was made by e-mail associated with the VK account, which in turn is associated with a full account on Habré?
Or I missed something else. In general, habradmins, do not order to execute, order to tell, what is the matter.

What is it? Bug or feature?

Your accounts still do not allow commenting without moderation. So, please, do not write “test” in this thread, otherwise I will lose my mind approving them all.
