New Ubiquiti 4MP IP Cameras - UniFi G3 Series

Introducing the new Ubiquiti series of CCTV cameras - Next Generation HD UniFi Video Cameras. The short name of the UniFi G3 product line and is represented by the UVC-G3 and UVC-G3-DOME models. Just note the key difference from the previous series of cameras in the UVC series - this is the resolution, now in our hands, according to the sensor resolution, 4-megapixel camera 1080p (1920x1080) Full HD versus 720p (1280 x 720), which was earlier, also added support for HDR, which means that the camera will work much better under conditions of illumination of the frame or part of it, for example, with sunlight or vice versa, lack of lighting (the period when the backlight is too early to turn on, and the picture quality is already falling due to lack of lighting). And also we have a more than 20% increased viewing angle, prices .
A more detailed overview of UniFi G3 equipment is presented below :
Model UVC-G3

Appearance

Mounting options
UVC-G3 is an outdoor IP camera with a wide viewing angle of 72 ° vertically, 43 ° horizontally and 80 ° diagonally, with a hinge mount on a wall, ceiling or pipe rack, with the ability to rotate the device to any angle. The camera has an infrared light that allows you to operate it in total darkness and a built-in microphone, which allows you to assess the situation completely, that is, not only see, but hear what the attackers say. The device operates in a wide temperature range, up to + 70 ° (previously it was up to + 50 °, which is also not bad, but now the camera will be able to work in any sun and in non-ventilated rooms). And of course UVC-G3 features a 4-megapixel sensor, 1/3 inch, 30 frames per second and a lens with a focal length of 3.6 mm. Dimensions 75 (diameter) x 140 mm (length), weight 300 g.
We also introduce an infrared ring - model UVC-G3-LED , sold as a separate accessory. Range of action - up to 25 meters.

Model UVC-G3-DOME

UVC-G3-DOME is an IP dome camera that can be mounted on any plane, that is, on the ceiling and on the wall, with IR illumination and a very wide viewing angle - 88 ° vertical, 55 ° horizontal and 96 ° diagonally. At first glance, it may seem that the camera is of an internal design, which is afraid of negative temperatures, but in fact it is a device with a temperature range of operation from -30 to 70 ° C. The matrix is similar to the UVC-G3 model, but the EFL lens is 2.8 mm. F2.0, dimensions: 132 mm (diameter) x 60 mm (height), weight 260 g.

We cannot but note the traditional bonuses from Ubiquiti - there is no paid software and a fee for the number of connected cameras, that is, there can be as many devices on the network and every new installation does not entail a license purchase. Further, the customer is invited to use a proprietary UVC-NVR storage device with pre-installed software (plug-and-play) to form a network and software for remote management and monitoring from anywhere in the world.

Here is a diagram of connecting devices on a network. An

approximately similar picture can be output. We draw attention to a wide viewing angle, which will reduce the number of camera installation points.
