    The titanium of the industry showed itself in numbers: according to the financial report, the company's revenue for 2014 amounted to $ 1.7 billion, which is approximately three times more than revenue for 2013.

    Boosting such a significant increase in revenue could be like the appearance of a new title last year - a number of games such as Clash of Clans and Hay Day replenished Boom Beach, as well as the amount of money spent on marketing and advertising. Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen said that $ 400 million was spent on promoting games last year.

    It is noteworthy that analysts expected more from Supercell: Superdata estimated the company's revenue of more than $ 1.8 billion.

    Apple removes antiviruses from the store

    Following news applications from the App Store , antiviruses began to disappear . According to the developers, Apple has a rather banal argument: “incorrect description”, although even after all the edits, the applications are not returned.

    In fact, antiviruses are simply removed for the fact that, according to Apple, there can be no viruses on iOS, which means that such applications are not needed, as they mislead users or hint to them about a possible iOS vulnerability.

It remains only to be surprised: “And why didn’t you do this before?” That’s what happened with the creators of Motion Tennis Cast. They used a bunch of Android smartphones and a Chromecast media server as a wii prefix. An excellent and completely logical move, the performance of the selected devices allows you to do such things for a long time.

    Judging by the video, the game is pretty straightforward, but this is only the beginning! We will wait for a surge in such games and lawsuits from Nintendo :)

    Apple punishes app reviews

    Recently , Russian news applications that talk about mobile technologies and innovations: iGuides and AppLifto were removed from the App Store . The main reason in both cases was a violation of paragraphs 2.25 and 2.26 of the Apple manual: the promotion of third-party programs.

    But it is important to note that AppLifto and iGuides abused the spam of keywords in the title, posted materials about competing mobile platforms.

    The share of iPad in Russia fell by half

    According to a study by J'son & Partners Consulting, Android tablets are increasingly preferred in Russia. So, in 2014, their market share grew to 89%, while the iPad’s share almost halved and fell to 10%.

    It is important to note that over the past two years, the average selling price of tablets has almost halved, and this is below 10 thousand rubles. Moreover, the largest sales growth, almost doubled, showed the price category of tablets up to 5 thousand rubles. This is affected by the difficult financial situation in the country, and the constant rise in prices for Apple devices during 2014.

    At the same time, the global share of the iPad fluctuates slightly and according to the results of 2014 amounted to 28%, and tablets on Android - no more than 68%.
