Hello, Habr! Today we are announcing the results of the first single ranking of mobile application developers . The ranking was made only for the agent segment - companies developing custom applications.
The methodology for constructing our rating is absolutely transparent, and anyone can make sure that the final points for each company are correctly calculated. We tried to make the methodology as relevant as possible and protected from markups - the results of the participants in 5 local niche segment ratings formed the basis of a single top.
By the way, during the preparation process, we discovered a rather interesting fact. Unlike players from other digital segments (web studios, streamers, contextual advertising agencies, etc.), a significant number of companies developing custom-made applications have a full-fledged English version of sites and often indicate it “by default”. Thus, Russian mobile developers are much more oriented towards cooperation with Western companies than their counterparts from other market segments.

Unreal Mojo . The first place in our rating with a comfortable margin from the pursuers. Unreal Mojo is represented in high positions in almost all industry ratings (we can especially note the first place in the report of J`son & Partners). The company's turnover for 2012, according to Cnews, amounted to more than 40 million rubles. The client portfolio includes such brands as Alfabank, Sberbank, ABBY, Kommersant and others. The company specializes only in the mobile segment.
REDMADROBOT . The company is on the second line of the chart thanks to the first place in BestInDigital and high positions in the ratings of Cnews and J`son & partners. The company’s turnover for 2012 is 25 million rubles, currently there are 40 people in the state. The client portfolio includes Beeline, Life Financial Group, ROLF. The company specializes only in the mobile segment.
e-Legion . The bronze rating is received by a company from St. Petersburg e-Legion. The high position is largely due to the first place on the CNews chart (the company showed a turnover of 50 million rubles for 2012). The Legion employs more than 70 people, there are offices in Moscow, Krasnodar, Ulyanovsk and Kazan. Among e-Legion clients such companies as RaiffeisenBank, Yandex, Mail.Ru.
iD EAST . On the fourth line of the rating is one of the largest players in the segment - iD EAST (largely due to the permanent first place on the Apps4All chart). The company develops applications not only on iOS, Android and Windows Phone, but also on less common platforms - Blackberry, Symbian MeeGo, Samsung Bada. It is worth noting separately that the company is not represented in the main chart on Cnews turnover, but stated the highest rates for 2012: 60 million rubles.
Articul Media . On the fifth line is the first player of the not purely mobile segment - the full-service digital agency Articul Media. The company has significantly increased its activity over the past period, and this is largely due to the maintenance of a significant pool of work in the digital field for the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee.
Media East . East Media is in sixth position with a minimum margin from the top five (thanks in large part to the high positions on the Apps4All chart). The company has its own publishing platform for periodicals for iPhone / iPad. The head office of the company is located in Yekaterinburg, there is a branch in Moscow.
Infoshell . On the seventh line of the chart is Infoshell. The high position is largely due to the rather large turnover announced in the CNews rating - 25 million rubles. for 2012.
2Nova Interactive . On the eighth position is another integrated digital agency 2Nova, thanks in large part to the company's highly rated service in the BestInDigital rating. By the way, in 2013 2Nova became the fourth Russian agency admitted to the authoritative international SoDA association.
AppTeka . In the ninth position is a small Moscow company Appteka. The client portfolio of the company: Mediamarkt, ECCO, Sport-Express.
Sebbia . With a minimum margin from the ninth line, Sebbia closes the top ten. The company achieved a decent result in good positions in the ratings of Apps4All and BesInDigital. At the moment, the company employs about 15 people.
