Play Pure Drive - smart tennis racket for everyone

Professional tennis players like Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic work out innings and shots using computerized racquets with a huge number of sensors. Such devices are very expensive and, as a rule, only famous athletes or just wealthy tennis fans can afford them.

French company Babolat hopes to change this situation with its Play Pure Drive racket. This high-tech device, aimed at a wide range of customers, includes several sensors and gyroscopes that read shock parameters. The racket is able to catch and fix which area of the net the ball hit, at what angle and with what force the blow was delivered.

All this data is transmitted by Play Pure Drive via Bluetooth to a smartphone with special software. A tennis player will be able to look at the parameters of his kick and understand his mistakes. The application will give you tips on how to improve your skills and learn to play better. Like most smart fitness devices, Play Pure Drive has social features. You can compare your skills and parameters with other users, as well as with professional tennis players who participated in testing the racket. Among them, for example, is Rafael Nadal.
The racket itself, despite the complex structure and the abundance of additional parts, weighs exactly the same as the usual rackets that athletes use in competitions. So training with Play Pure Drive will not be any different from a regular game, with the exception of a detailed analysis of each component of a tennis player’s skill.
