American sues Apple over iOS 7: “This is banditry”

US resident Mark Menacher filed a lawsuit against Apple CEO Tim Cook. The Californian's indignation caused a spontaneous (without his consent) download of the iOS 7 installation file. Although the installation of a new version without the consent of the user does not start by itself, Menacher is not going to update iOS 6 ( which is not surprising ). At the same time, an unnecessary installer file cannot be deleted using regular means of apple devices. The installer takes about one gigabyte, but more than 3 GB of space is reserved on SSD media, which from then on becomes unavailable for use and not displayed by the system.

Mark demands to remove the ill-fated iOS 7 installer file, as well as pay $ 50 in compensation. While the lawsuit is individual, but Menacher is ready to give it collective status .

“Apple’s inattention to customer preferences regarding iOS 7 is corporate gangsterism,” Menacher said in a lawsuit. “Tim Cook seems to be practicing a corporate profit pursuit culture and indifference to customer satisfaction. This policy leads to failure. ”
