Spring Technology Forum: what, where, when
April 9, 2013 Mail.Ru Group invites programmers, system administrators and mobile application developers to the fifth Technology Forum. Specialists of Mail.Ru Group and other technology companies will talk about the latest trends and trends, as well as about solving complex problems in the framework of project development. By the way, this year for the first time at the Technology Forum a separate stream will be organized on the topic of mobile development.

The topics of reports at the Technology Forums cover various aspects of development and administration, from development and implementation practices to process management. For example, at the fourth, autumn TechForum, we talked about how machine learning works in practice, how to live if you manage a large team of developers, and how the VoIP engine works, which provides audio and video communications inside Mail.Ru Agent. In the first room, forum participants will be able to learn about:

● search engines - from finding fuzzy duplicates on a runet scale to organizing full-text mail search and its features
● Selenium in Mail.Ru Group (multithreading in within one node, error correction, virtualization, automatic configuration)
● Perl development in MRG
● a new storage engine for Tarantool (this is our in-memory database)
In addition to the company’s employees, developers of GitHub Scott Chacon and CEO of NuvolaBase Ltd Luca Garulli will perform in the first room .
In the second room, you can listen to presentations on the following topics:
● configuring distributed applications
● implementing CSS Flexible Box Layout
● fiber: non-preemptive multitasking library in Java
● Mail.Ru Calendar architecture
● forms on the web: best practices and new technologies
