Video review iOS 6.1
Good night (MSC-time), readers. Soon you will be dreaming, but before going to bed, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with iOS 6.1 by watching this video review.
Over the weekend, Apple introduced the new version of iOS 6.1 Beta 5 for developers (which, most likely, was GM), and today iOS 6.1 has been released to the public. Updates, frankly, are of little interest to Russia, but not everything can be seen and understood immediately. That is why, in the review, all found "chips" of the update are described, which could come out under the number 6.0.3.
As a result of a hard study of the OS, these lines came out:
- Support for new LTE networks in 16 countries (including even Africa, but not Russia)
- Increased battery life
- The ability to buy movie tickets through Fandango using Siri (US only)
- iTunes Match users can now download individual songs from iCloud
- New button to reset the advertising identifier (the review tells what it is)
- New player on the lockscreen
Phil Schiller Apple's senior vice president of global marketing, said iOS 6 is the most popular mobile system on the market. At the moment, it is used by about 300 million users around the world. Especially, I want to note the fact that this version of the OS on iPhone 4S / 5, iPad 3rd and 4th generation devices is still not hacked. Nevertheless, users are updated, which means Jailbreak is starting to lose its popularity and interest.
Among other things, Apple’s vice president of marketing focused on LTE updates, which iOS 6.1 is improving, noting that “even more users will be able to enjoy Safari’s ultra-fast browser, FaceTime calls, iCloud services, iTunes and App Store downloads, ” which leads to one thought ... but then lets go.

Also, with the release of the 5th beta version of iOS 6, hackers found mention of an Apple device with 128 GB of memory in the firmware logs. Today it became known that this is iPad 4, the purchase of which can be completed already on the 5th fairway. (Damn! IPad with 128 GB! My MacBook Air 11 uses less memory ...)
And one more (for some good news ) news: This Sunday, February 3rd, Jailbreak iOS 6.0 and 6.1 will be released. It immediately became clear that Phil Schiler jinxed.
