Samsung's Latest New Product of the Year: GALAXY Grand

    Good evening, Guards!

The last working day this year is drawing to a close, and we congratulate all of you from the bottom of our hearts! The final novelty of 2012, which Samsung Electronics announced a couple of days ago, was the new smartphone from the GALAXY family - Samsung GALAXY Grand.

The novelty is a follower of this year's flagship Samsung GALAXY S III, but with a more affordable price tag. To reduce costs, unfortunately, I had to pay with a HD screen, replacing it with WVGA (480x800, TFT, capacitive multi-touch).

Under the hood, the Samsung GALAXY Grand runs a dual-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz of an as yet unknown breed. There is 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash memory. The volume of the drive can be expanded using microSD cards (up to 64 GB). The Samsung GALAXY Grand is powered by a 2100 mAh lithium-ion battery.

The smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, which is pumped by a backlight sensor (BIS) for taking pictures in low light conditions. It can also record 1080p video. In addition, there is a frontal, 2-megapixel camera for video calls. All this stuff works on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which means that the device will appreciate its performance without brakes and glitches.

The novelty will be available in two versions: for one SIM card (GT-I9080) and in the Duos format (GT-I9082), with two SIM card slots. The first version to be sold on the domestic market with two SIM cards in February 2013 at an approximate price of $ 550.
