NMSYS Team Presentation

    NMSYS, the National Medical System, was founded in 2010 and specializes in the development, implementation and maintenance of automated information systems in the field of preventive medicine. The team combines expertise in management consulting, economics, information technology and medicine, covering all levels of the organization of population-based prevention in high-risk groups of occupational and cardiorenal pathology.

    According to the World Health Organization, 60% of chronic diseases in modern society are associated with ten leading risk factors:

    1. High blood pressure
    2. High blood cholesterol
    3. Food imbalance
    4. Metabolic syndrome
    5. Tobacco use
    6. Overweight
    7. Inadequate fruit intake
    8. Inadequate intake of vegetables
    9. Physical inactivity
    10. Excess lead in the body

    Chronic diseases are increasingly becoming the main causes of disability of a significant part of the population, especially people of mature age with great professional experience and potential opportunities for active life.
    The solution proposed by the team is a hardware-software complex that allows solving the main problems associated with the collection, accumulation and analysis of medical diagnostic information at a modern level.
    Participation in the population health management system will allow anyone with the help of MDLs to really manage their health, and medical personnel to identify at an early stage, quickly respond and effectively control in the future the risk factors of such serious diseases as:

    • Arterial hypertension
    • High cholesterol and atherosclerosis
    • Rising sugar and developing diabetes
    • Obesity and muscle recovery
    • Metabolic syndrome, in all its manifestations, including erectile dysfunction
    • Gout and hyperuricemia
    • Fatty liver and fatty hepatitis
    • The development and progression of chronic kidney disease

    At the moment, the team members have developed the general structure of the diagnostic platform for preventive personified healthcare, the logical, functional and physical structure of the hardware-software complex of telemedicine observation. An original methodology has been developed for situational screening of blood pressure to effectively control the degree of patient cooperation in the treatment of arterial hypertension, ensuring the constancy of the necessary treatment. A preliminary block diagram of the device and a circuit diagram of individual modules were also developed. We tested the embedded GPS / GPRS modem in the cloud infrastructure and tested the Bluetooth module for receiving / transmitting data of a special Health Device Profile (HDP) profile. The HDP profile is specifically designed for the interaction processes of various medical devices. HDP is designed for interconnecting medical sensors and medical measuring devices of various manufacturers. In addition, the profile complies with the requirements of the standard Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, class 1, allows you to translate data into text format and is certified by the international telemedicine association Continua Health Alliance.

    The instrument case will be made of the new BIOGRADER RC7500 material, developed specifically for medical applications. The antimicrobial properties of the material make it attractive for any product intended for use by different people and generally just for carrying in hands. The work surface meets all modern requirements for the organization of the human-machine interface and is tilted at an angle of 20 °, which is ideal from the point of view of ergonomics of the operator’s work both in horizontal and vertical arrangement of the device.

    The design of the MDU housing allows you to place both touch displays of various sizes and devices built using tablet computers. Therefore, based on the case, you can create convenient-to-use devices with an interactive display of processes. Advantages of touch displays are simple intuitive controls and a perfect navigation system. The portable part is simply “hung” on the base, with a latch for reliable fixation.

    To ensure true mobility, it is planned to use an instant display and indication device located in a micro-case and designed to be worn on a key ring, on a wrist strap or on a cord around the neck.

    The proposed device will be an integral part of the project under development to create an individual health management system, manage population prevention, and professional and cardiorenal pathology.
