Many news outlets drew the attention of their users to the fact that in the latest update of the popular torrent client uTorrent 3.2.2 there was a built-in advertisement, which, however, can be turned off, but nevertheless, the issue of updating should still be decided individually in each specific case.
The advertisement looks approximately as follows:
As you can see, the advertisement is visually clearly separated from the downloaded torrents in order to avoid accidental clicks and the specifics of the offer itself, apparently, lies in the proposal to download something.
Many users have already found a way to turn off even such unobtrusive ads by setting the last two parameters to false :
