A project competition for games will be held in Russia as well as other program projects in previous years:

    • Application deadline is February 15, 2013.
    • Regional finals and online tour (for those who can’t participate in the regional finals in person) - March 2013
    • Russian Final - April 2013

I would like to recall that the international finals of the competition will also be held in Russia, in the city of St. Petersburg. Final participants will enjoy an unforgettable event and the winners will receive the largest prizes in the history of the Imagine Cup.

Programmers, artists, musicians! You can all participate in the contest!

Creating a game is a very interesting task. On the one hand, it is fascinating, but on the other, it is replete with complexities of various kinds. In order for this not to become an obstacle for you in the implementation of your ideas, we will help you in various ways. For example, you will have the opportunity to directly ask technical questions to an Microsoft expert on the entire spectrum of technologies related to creating games: DirectX, XNA, Kinect, Windows 8 and Windows 8 Phone platforms, and many others.

Do you know how to program but don’t know how to draw and create music? Or vice versa, you know how to draw but know little about programming and want to participate in the competition? It doesn’t matter, we will help you not only understand the technology, but also create a real team capable of coping with the most ambitious goals! The most important thing is the desire to achieve results and perseverance.

    Where to begin.

Already now you can register on the updated website imaginecup.ru . When registering, we ask you to briefly describe your idea of the game in order to also participate in a local competition of ideas. Already, there are several dozen game ideas in the Idea Exchange.
