The developers of the underwater robot OpenROV needed only one day to collect through Kickstarter the $ 20,000 they needed to start production of the designer.

All electronics are hidden in a moisture resistant housing in the center of the robot. The device is driven by three 800kv motors: two in the horizontal plane and one in the vertical.

For a modest amount of $ 220, a set of parts for the body and chassis is sold, without electronics and motors.
