Court ruling: Google does not infringe Oracle copyright on Java API

So, last time the judge ruled that Google did not infringe on Oracle patents in its Android operating system. But it was not clear what to do with the copyright for 37 Java APIs and 9 lines of rangeCheck code. Now, Judge William Haskell Elsup ruled that Google did not infringe Oracle’s copyright on the API due to the lack of these rights. The court decided that these APIs are not subject to copyright, therefore there is no corpus delicti.
