Hurrah! Wait! NetApp FAS2240-2 came to our NetApp Competency Center .
NetApp FAS2240-2 is the new model that has become the oldest in the younger line of FAS2000. Therefore, its appearance as a demo stand will be interesting to those who were looking for an intermediate option between FAS2XXX and FAS3XXX. Speaking of price-quality ratio, FAS2240 - works like FAS3210, but costs like FAS2040 - and this is a key advantage of this storage system.
For this reason, IT-GRAD formed ready-made sets of equipment for virtualization on the FAS2240 model. The power of this model is enough to freely build the entire infrastructure of the company up to 500 users .
In this post, the main idea is that the FAS2240 is available for testing!You can conduct load testing of storage systems directly in the IT-GRAD Competence Center or get equipment at your site.

On the front side, you can see 24 SAS disks with a capacity of 600 GB, which occupy 2U in a rack:
On the reverse side, 2 controllers with 2 power supplies are visible:
In our configuration, each controller has 4 1GB ports:
All protocols are already included in the package! !!
And the attached documentation will allow you to switch the FAS2240 in your system even to someone who was previously not familiar with NetApp products.
Now the storage system is undergoing tests in our Competence Center - we will soon post the results of the tests.
