General Motors turns car windows into touchscreens

General Motors has demonstrated the development that is planned to be used in the production of cars of the future.

The idea is to turn the rear passenger side windows into interactive touchscreens. The technology is called Windows of Opportunity.

An interactive picture displayed using Windows of Opportunity reacts to weather changes outside the window, as well as to changes in the speed of the car:

The system will allow you to draw on the windows with your finger, as if color condensation has formed on them:

Landscapes from different angles can be projected onto the window Mira:

Well, and of course, nowhere without music and video:

Students managed to build a working prototype that uses optical sensors in their work. Serial modification, when it comes to it, is likely to use smart glass technology. It allows you to display a virtual image on the interior of the glass surface while maintaining transparency.
