Google added +1 button to image search

The Google search service is becoming increasingly closely linked to the Google plus social network. Previously, developers have added several functions that allow you to recommend search results to friends, or simply mark the search results with the corresponding button. Now, roughly the same thing can be done with images, since the +1 button also appeared in the image search.
Interestingly, over the past few months, the +1 button has become very popular, in fact, it is one of the most popular social widgets at the moment. Of course, its prevalence is largely due to the large number of users of various Google services, but still the success of the social button is noticeable.
Why did the developers add a +1 button to the image search? Representatives of the team explain this by the ability to quickly share found images with friends and colleagues. For example, you find a unique picture that has any value for your current work and the work of your colleagues. You can save the picture, then send it to friends by mail. Or you can simply press the +1 button, and those to whom this “mark” was intended will immediately see everything with their own eyes, without the need for intermediate results.
By the way, a little earlier the +1 button appeared in user photos on the social network itself. Now we are testing a new function for searching for images, so the number of users to whom the function is available may be limited.
