Greetings habrazhitel! I want to tell you about an interesting idea that will soon be implemented on the territory that really unites Kazakhstan and Russia - the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

On the night of July 15-16, 2011, the first Twitter broadcast of the launch of the KazSat-2 satellite from the Baikonur Cosmodrome will take place. The initiative to host such an event came from the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Massimov ( @KarimMassimov ). The launch of “KazSat-2” is important, because you want to feel the whole country how it will fly and take off! with its help, television broadcasting, data transmission in the KazSat satellite communications system in Kazakhstan and Russia will be provided.

    Broadcast will be:

    • Alisher Elikbaev ( @yelikbayev ) - blogger, journalist, owner of the website of photo reports voxpopuli.kz
    • Baglan Aydashov ( @sympaticus ) - blogger, independent financial analyst
    • Dina Kubaizhanova ( @dinakuba ) is a blogger, marketer of all Kazakhtelecom JSC.
    • The proton-M launch photographer will be Damir Otegen.

I think this is the first launch of the satellite, which will be lit via Twitter. I personally welcome such an undertaking since lately I have been getting more and more information from there and I would not want to miss interesting events. Especially such good ones.

The broadcast will be carried out on Twitter by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov, who has the highest “readability” among Kazakhstani users of the microblogging service - about 8,000 people. All the impressions of the launch of the Proton-M rocket launcher (just don’t say that you didn’t dream to see it personally in childhood) are on your screens.

    “Let's go” with us!

Twitter broadcast is “open” - any user of social networks and blogs will be able to freely read the news from the launch of the satellite, chat with other bloggers and exchange views. Interesting comments with the hashtag # kzs2 will be included in the message feed, which will also be broadcast on the website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov.

The official countdown to the event is held on the website of the Prime Minister - http://pm.kz/kzs2/ . This resource is also responsible for the live broadcast from the venues. Do not miss the live broadcast launch!
