Type Folly - Amazingly Simple CSS3 Online Editor

    On my own initiative, I post to the community court a project of my friend, with a hard-to-pronounce name Mircea Piturca.

    Meet: Type Folly is a very simple and convenient online CSS editor. For beginners, this is the most.

    UPD: The author made changes and fixed bugs. Thanks to the Habra community.

    No wonder I focus on simplicity. I am very poor at webdev, but I understood everything.

    At first glance at the main page, it seems that this is an image. Especially embarrassing menu "ala-photoshop." But no - these are objects that can be moved and selected. Select and edit. That's all - simple and convenient.

    Behind simplicity hides an uncommon functionality:
    • the site is made on Wordpress (!);
    • is free;
    • account - keep your projects;
    • Photoshop panels work (move in space) as well as in the original thanks to JavaScript;
    • layers, sizes, containers, etc. etc. and so on .;
    • font effects (shadow, blur, etc.);
    • Fonts Any (if desired). Thanks Tipekit.
    The process itself is very similar to working in Adobe Illustrator. Having played around (in other words, the language does not turn around) with a machine gun, we get a serious result - ready CSS3 + HTML.

    Experiment on health.

    Simple iterated for many simple about.

    PS I laid out in the evening so that I did not go under the Habraeffect. Although (mt), but WP.
    PPS Not sure what is more here - CSS or typography. Where to place?

    UPD: The author thanks everyone for the bug reports and sends his regards to the Habrasociety.
    UPD2: Trying to fix everything today, except for problems with the Opera.
    UPD3: Thanks to everyone for the bug reports, already fixed (quote from the author):
    Right now the following should be fixed:

    Rotate function Works in Opera
    #gridpannel have a background and rounded corners in Opera
    Panels do not jump
    The Grid and Container should be in place in Ubuntu (could not checked
    because I do not have it installed in here )

    I'll do more works and add more features later on today (in about 5
    hours). I will also look for some webfonts that supports Russian
    characters and add them to the library.
    Ok, I've done some changes.
