    The first place in the international competitions in underwater robotics 9th Annual MATE International ROV competition 2010 took the team of Vladivostok!

    From June 24 to 26, 9 international competitions in underwater robotics were held in Hawaii at the University of Hawaii. A team from the city of Vladivostok, representing the Institute of Marine Technology Problems, Far Eastern State University and Far Eastern State Technical University in the Explorer class (advanced level) took first place. The second place went to the team of Long Beach City College of Long Beach. The third place went to the team of the Marine Institute and Faculty of Engineering of Memorial University of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. In addition, this year the team of Bauman University took part in the competition.
