Ericsson LX588 (DAMPS)
I found an old man whom I once used, because the phone will most likely be thrown out a small overview of the memory.

It looked like a box, there were no SIM cards, and tariffs were sold immediately with phones. This box has a slightly changed tariff, the same zeros are hidden behind the sticker, but a minute costs $ 0.25.

Even the check has survived. I did not find the year of release of the phone, on the check the purchase date was 10.10.2000, almost ten years ago.

Inside the Beeline box is a box with a phone.

Standard set: the phone itself, charging, battery, a bunch of books. A second battery and car charger were purchased separately.

Even by today's standards, the phone is not big enough, it fits well in the hand, and the weight is also small. The first of ericsson'ov at which there was a vibrating alert.

Before him, I had Ericsson DH618, where the battery accounted for 80% of the size and weight, there was already clear progress. On the right battery it says “made for EUROSET”.

On the side of the volume control button. In place of a standard antenna, you can screw a stationary one.

There was little hope, but after 10 minutes of charging, the phone turned on without problems.

No network is certainly not caught.

This is what the main menu looks like. Below there are still points, but there is nothing interesting.

Phone book, name, phone number and cell number. Fits 200 phones.
I hardly figured out how to navigate it. After moving from the main menu to “phonebook”, a few more items are opened, because the line is small, all names are abbreviated and are difficult to translate. Scrolling through the list of phones is also not very convenient, let's scroll to the right, the cursor is at the bottom of the cell number, to start scrolling to the left, you must first move the cursor up to the name. You can also enter the cell number and get to the desired number. Of course there is no search.
Changing and adding a number is also not standard. It is enough to change one character, either in an empty cell, or with some number, wait a couple of seconds and the phone will ask you to save the changes or not, there are no other ways.

This is a list of SMS, at the top is a serial number, then the date of receipt and at the bottom the beginning of SMS, if you click on YES you can read the whole text.
The phone does not know how to send sms, like most DAMPS devices, so at that time the only sms were about the account status that the beeline sent after each conversation.

The phone does not support Russian, except English and French and Spanish.

For the entire short life, the phone made 6359 calls. Rip
