WeCU Technologies builds a scanner that reads in its mind and is able to tell whether this traveler poses a potential threat - without the knowledge of the scanned.

WeCU Technologies (the name is pronounced like “we see you”, which means “we see you” in English ) is creating a system that will essentially turn the public places of airports into a huge security check room.

The system projects images on screens at the airport - for example, symbols belonging to a certain terrorist group, or other images that only a future terrorist can recognize, said CEO of the company, Ehud Givon.

The logic of the system is that people cannot help but react (at least barely noticeable) to familiar images that suddenly appear in an unfamiliar place.

If you walked around the airport and saw a portrait of your mother, Givon explained, then you could not help but respond to this.

He said the reaction could be a sharp glance, a fast heartbeat, a nervous shudder or faster breathing.

The WeCU system will also use people for surveillance, but will mainly rely on hidden cameras or secret biometric sensors that can detect a slight increase in body temperature and heart rate.
