BlenderCD-2.49b is available as
an additional media item for Blender Basics 3rd Edition.

In this version of BlenderCD, a large number of changes have been made compared to previous versions:

* The gallery has been completely redesigned and now represents the work of
Russian-speaking 3D artists and animators. The works of the
community members blenderteam.net and blender3d.org.ua are presented
* The number of animations and videos created on the disc created in Blender is expanded
* In the documentation section you will find an electronic version of the book
“Blender Basics 3rd edition” , as well as a selection of Russian-language magazines
by Blender - BlenderEmpire and BlenderArt
* The section with information about Blender contains a description of all the main
features of Blender and a list of the most significant changes made
after version 2.48
* In the installation section you will find Blender 2.49b distributions for
Linux, MacOSX (PowerPC and Intel versions) and Windows
(2000,2003, XP, Vista, Seven)

This time BlenderCD comes in two versions:

* Classic BlenderCD , which is a disk with Blender media, documentation, and distributions. Size 1.6G.
* Ubuntu-9.10-blenderCD - a hybrid drive that works both as a
classic BlenderCD and as a LiveCD. Size 3.8G (loading)
You can insert it into
your computer’s CD-drive and watch Blender media. You
can also boot from it and work in a full-fledged Ubuntu 9.10 system
with already installed and configured Blender 2.49b. In LiveCD mode
, all BlenderCD media materials are also available!
