Opera Mini has long become a common means of web surfing on Blackberry phones, since the native Blackberry browser has problems with speed, page display and the extremely unpleasant inability to open a number of pages. But Opera, until recently, was also not pleased with the quality of work - the low priority of Blackberry for Opera Software was striking.
To the credit of the developers, they took into account most of the problems in the new version of Opera. In this article I will talk about what has been fixed in the new version and give a brief overview of the new functionality. Previously, in order to enter a password or some text in the form on the site, you had to go to a separate window. Now “everything is like people”, the text in the form is entered directly on the site. First cheers!
Ability to view only one page at a time
Previously, you could only see one page. Bb owners could only look enviously at the Iphone (this prompted me to buy an Iphone in addition to Bb). As you can see in the screenshot, tabs are now supported. But working with tabs still slows down a bit (I hope this is a beta problem). Fonts In the previous version, fonts looked very scary. It was evident that the browser was simply ported from another platform, and not made for Bb. Now everything looks extremely nice! Password manager
Given the inconvenient input of passwords, which I mentioned above, their constant input was just a torment. Now there is a password manager!
Menu
Navigation in the menu of the new Opera is simply a miracle. Finally guessed to use the trackball! Everything is available in one click and a little scrolling of the trackball. Tabs I won’t say that just a list of sites was inconvenient, but tabs are extremely pleasing to the eye. Speed The browser runs significantly faster than the previous version. This is especially noticeable on large sites with an abundance of media content. Conclusions With the release of the new Opera Mini, perhaps the Iphone will be moved from the pedestal of the most convenient phone for surfing the web. Let's hope that minor flaws will be fixed in the release. My rating: 4.5 stars
