First Japanese WiMAX Netbook

    Japanese Onkyo in the line of 10-inch netbooks Sotec C204 announced the A5 model - the first Japanese netbook in which there are WiMAX and Wi-Fi modules.

    In addition to the simultaneous availability of WiMAX and Wi-Fi, the netbook is nothing remarkable. The machine is built on a typical Intel Atom N270 processor (1.6 GHz) and the Intel 945GSE Express chipset. The netbook is equipped with 1 GB of DDR2 533 MHz RAM, a 32 GB SSD, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a 4 in 1 card reader (SD / SDHC / MMC / MS Pro) and two USB ports.

    The display resolution is 1024x600 pixels, the battery capacity is 1,800 mAh, the dimensions are 257x180x23 mm, and the weight is 960 grams.

    Sales begin in Japan in July.
