On the Apple website in the section "Portfolio" (Mac) there was a page dedicated to Twitter . It turns out that in the office of Twitter are only poppies and macbooks. All staff (a little less than 30 people) also work for them.
The Twitter engine was also made using the Ruby on Rails toolkit, which comes bundled with Mac OS X. All programmers are required to have the latest version of Mac OS X.
