Meet: Minoru - the first 3D webcam

    image

Online video chats finally got the third dimension.
Presented at CES 2009, the new Minoru webcam with two cameras, planted similar to human eyes, sends two shifted images to a computer, where they are processed in real time by the software shell.
The camera comes with 5 sets of red-blue 3-D glasses for use with conventional monitors, but the software part also allows you to display the image in the format used by the new 3-D monitors.
The camera is fully compatible with Skype, AOL Messenger and YouTube (!).
