Google accused of software theft
The software developer, LimitNone (to be honest, completely unknown to me) sued Google, accusing the Internet giant of software theft.
According to the plaintiff, Google completely (!) Copied the program for transferring data from Microsoft Outlook to the Gmail service developed by LimitNone. Thus, comrades from LimitNone, claiming that the Google Email Uploader is an exact copy of their gMove, are claiming from Google about $ 950 million in damages.
I don’t know how much Google needed to “copy” software. Little is believed in it. In my opinion, it smells like a sneaky judicial PR. But the fact remains.
