My computer. More often mine.

A nearby friendly blog discusses the best way to clean stains on your Macbook . As a detergent composition, it is recommended to use toothpaste. Toothpaste may be good, but I, in turn, could not help sharing an old and proven recipe.

The best composition for washing computer plastic, CRT and LCD monitors is ... soapy water!

At one time I tried everything - from alcohol (in no case do not use it, dirt only eats into plastic like that) to a variety of napkins and sprays. But soapy water rescued me for the past 15 years, from the very first computers that appeared at my disposal.

Allows you to wash so dirty computers to such a state that the used computer seemed new. Previously used to wash CRT monitors, so as not to wash off the anti-reflective layer. With the advent of the LCD, it turned out that no wipes were needed - everything was washed, from fingerprints, to dust.

The following ingredients are needed: a container of warm water (in which we dissolve the soap) and two rags - one will be wet, the other to be wiped dry. It is advisable to use rags made of flannel, so as not to scratch the plastic or monitor, or something lint-free. Yes, still, it is advisable to turn off the monitor while wiping. Squeeze a rag - so that there are no drips of water.

ps It may seem banal to someone, but I too often find bewilderment when recommending washing with soapy water. And I will be very happy if it helps someone to remove fingerprints from a flopped monitor or arrange a holiday for the life of the system unit.
