Mobile World Congress and Android

The first real prototypes of Google Android devices were shown today at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. ARM, Marvell, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, NEC and ST Microelectronics have demonstrated various prototypes that are due to appear in the second half of 2008.

Texas Instruments presented a prototype (see photo) from an unknown vendor running on an OMAP 3430 processor with a frequency of 500 MHz. Other photos of devices can be viewed here .

Personally, I like the design of this prototype, I would like to touch it sooner and start experimenting with the software.
