Android Mobile Phones Unveiled in Barcelona

The first working prototypes of phones based on the Android platform from Google were presented at the World Mobile Congress (3GSM) in Barcelona on Monday by ARM, Marvell, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, NEC and ST Microelectronics.

Let me remind you that instead of self-production of Android-based mobile phones, Google has created an alliance that will do this. The alliance includes 34 companies, including China Mobile, HTC, Intel, Motorola, Qualcomm, T-Mobile, Telefonica, LG and eBay. Let's hope that such reputable players in the high-tech market will soon make us happy with the first production models of Android phones :)
