Google advertises spam mailings
Checking mail through the Gmail web interface, I came across an interesting advertising line:

I couldn’t believe my eyes and clicked on the link. And I saw that I was not mistaken in the assumption - on the site I was invited to send my proposal to 70 million addresses. I did not read further.
The most interesting thing in this story is that the link from the mail turned out to be referral - the page had the GET parameter hop = netman114, which greatly expands the range of reasoning.
