Microsoft, Adobe, Real Networks and Apple accused of piracy
Media Rights Technologies (MRT) has recently sent letters to Microsoft, Adobe, Real Networks, and Apple stating that these companies violate the United States Digital Rights Act (DMCA). The text of the MRT messages states that Microsoft, Adobe, Real Networks and Apple control about 98% of the market for software media players that use the largest companies - CNN, NPR, Clear Channel, MySpace, Yahoo, YouTube, etc. Microsoft, Adobe, Real are to blame Networks and Apple are charged with the lack of reliable mechanisms for protecting content from copying in players that play streaming audio and video .
