Google begins testing Audio Ads

The search giant Google has announced the launch of testing its Audio Ads radio advertising system, which will help the company’s online customers broadcast advertisements on more than 700 radio stations in the United States. In the future, Google plans to increase the number of partner stations to 5,000.

So far, Google has lagged far behind market leader Softwave Media Exchange, which works with 1,500 radio stations. However, this, according to Google, is a matter of time. And applications for advertising in the Audio Ads system began to be accepted a week ago.

The corporation intends to seriously take up the development of radio advertising - this is already being spoken about openly, as well as that about a thousand new employees will be hired in the near future.
