The Program of Encouragement of Authors (PPA) - now and on Geektimes
Hello! In principle, after such a screaming headline you can no longer write anything - “what is there to discuss, if everything is clear” (c). However, some details are still waiting for you under the cut. Waiting can not wait!
The first mention of PPA (Authors Encouragement Program) happened on the “Habrahabr” on April 1, 2011 (th, 6 years ago!). Then our experimental initiative was subjected to quite severe criticism from the community, however, it took only 6 years (wow!), And among the participants of the PPA there are already those who earned the first million rubles with their publications on Habré.
Recall that the essence of the program is as follows. You, as before, place publications in specialized hubs (such hubsare marked with a gray star and we consider them to be the main theme of the site), users vote for your publications, and three days later (when the voting period expires) you receive a certain amount of money on your balance, which you can withdraw later. Publications from companies' blogs are not involved in the program, as well as publications with an offtopic hub.
The payout arithmetic on Geektimes is somewhat different from Habrovskaya: for each post that has gained +30, the author is charged 1,500 rubles (3,000 rubles for Habré), 3,000 rubles for +50 (5,000 rubles for Habré) "Plus" over this rating. For "transfers" the total amount is divided in half. Yes, the sums are smaller, but also to write publications on Geektimes easier.
Of the pitfalls there is one, the most-most underwater: not only everyone can participate in the program, but only those who have at least one of the icons : “Author”, “Star”, “Legend” or “Old-Timer”.
Do not forget that now "Habr" and Geektimes support the insertion of formulas and oembed-elements .
Prepare rezinochki for money.
Good posts!
