Intel Optane Memory M15 - Faster Than M10

Another news of the Computex conference was the announcement of the next line of caching drives Intel Optane Memory - the place M10 took M15 . Compared to its predecessors, the new Optane has become much faster, but the increase in volume has not occurred. Under the cut - a comparative plate with the characteristics of one and the other line.

As already mentioned, M15 is released in the same volumes as its predecessor - 16, 32 and 64 GB - and the same form factor M.2 2280. But the connection interface has become twice as wide, now it is PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 , which, in fact, allowed us to make such a breakthrough in speed. The table below shows the characteristics of the M15 in comparison with a model from the M10 line.
