GeekBrains together with Rostelecom will conduct IoT Hackathon


    The educational portal GeekBrains and Rostelecom are invited to take part in the IoT Hackathon, which will be held March 30-31 at the Moscow office of Mail.ru Group. Any novice developer can take part.


    In 48 hours, the participants, having broken into teams, will plunge into the real business of the Internet of things, communicate with specialists, learn how to distribute tasks, time and responsibilities and create a prototype of their own solution for the IoT task. For those who have not yet decided to work on new ideas, Rostelecom has prepared several cases from its practice.


    The hackathon will be useful to UX / UI and web designers, product managers, novice security specialists, system administrators and testers. During the hackathon, on March 30 and 31, mentors will be present at the site - Rostelecom experts and GeekBrains teachers. They will help participants not to lose morale, coding grip and bring the project to MVP.


    In advance of the event, the organizers will add useful educational materials to the guide to help participants prepare. Also, during the hackathon, practical workshops will be held that will provide the necessary knowledge for immersion in the Internet of things and the implementation of the ideas of participating teams.


    All the hackathon participants will enjoy pleasant souvenirs, and the best of the best will receive cash prizes: 100,000 rubles for the first place, 70,000 rubles for the second place, those who take 3rd place will receive GeekBrains courses as a present.
