MobilECG has integrated an open-source heart rate monitor into a business card



    Since a business card is like a face of a company or a private person, the owners of business cards try to make them more interesting and memorable. There are a lot of options for creative business cards, and now another one has appeared.

    Company MobilECG created a high-tech business card with built-in heart rate monitor. In this case, the electronic circuit of the device is laid out in the public domain and is not protected by copyright. In order to count your own pulse using such a business card, you just need to put your fingers to the electrodes on the card.

    Moreover, the readings should not be considered as accurate as in the case of diagnostic equipment in hospitals - the developers themselves warn about this. In addition to the scheme, they also posted drawings of their gadget.



    This type of business card is directly related to what MobilECG is doing - the company is developing open-source electrocardiographic systems. The company claims that the gadget can easily read ECG readings, as shown in the figure below.
