The organizer of the Bitcoin Foundation Ukraine conducted a search or cryptocurrency in Ukraine outlawed

On November 3, a search was conducted in Kiev at the apartment of Mikhail Chobanyan, the organizer of the Bitcoin Foundation Ukraine and the founder of the Kuna Bitcoin service.
Mikhail is charged with using an illegal means of payment - cryptocurrencies, illegal issuing of bitcoins, since the rules for issuing cryptocurrencies are not agreed with the NBU, as well as the illegal input / output of a prohibited cryptocurrency.

Of course, I am not Korban, but a couple of hours ago a search was carried out at my house. Representatives of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the fight against cybercrime came with the decision of the Shevchenkovsky court. After 1 year (the case was opened on November 30, 2014!), 1 interrogation, 5 explanations and 3 packages of documents submitted, the employees of the anti-cybercrime department suddenly suspected that I was related to bitcoin. The judge of the Shevchenkovsky court agreed that it is imperative to conduct a search at my home to investigate the cryptocurrency case. Attorneys, of course, tried not to let.
The Bitcoin community has been working closely with the NBU, the banking industry, lawyers, journalists and the public for the whole year to standardize Bitcoin in Ukraine. We held a series of meetings with the heads of the NBU departments and prepared draft regulatory documents, including legislative initiatives. We have established a relationship with the global bitcoin community, analyzed their experience. Introducing our position to the government, we appealed to the experience of the European Union and the United States. Bitcoin technology is the fastest growing and most promising industry in the world. Ukraine, thanks to its community, is now one of the leaders in the development of this technology. While the top 20 economies in the world invest hundreds of millions of dollars in the development of this industry, we are developing it for free.
And all this so that on 03.11.2015 our efforts would call into question several semi-literate investigators with the sanction of a judge who sincerely believes that if the word “cryptocurrency” is not in the law, then it is outlawed.
Tell me, is the word "gadget" in the laws? And the word "tablet"? Conscience? Adequacy? Or are all these concepts not accepted by the Shevchenko court for existing ones?
I ask you to share this post so that the information reaches the public, the media, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Presidential Administration as soon as possible. Today they are destroying IT and Fintech. Tomorrow we will be without a future. "Your hut" is no longer on the edge - this is a question of the future of the country!
