Nintendo 64 and PSP emulators were able to run in operating mode on Android Wear

In general, there should be a picture with a trolley from a loaf of bread, but Mario intervened, the jokes are bad with him.

Gadget lovers are often not satisfied with a simple contemplation. Some try to create something original, complement the capabilities of their own gadgets. Sometimes this is a “trolley from a loaf of bread” of pure water, but such projects are also needed, right?

So from, a YouTube user with the nickname Hacking Jules decided to launch a series of game console emulators on his Android Wear smartwatch. This experience does not have much practical sense, since it is hardly possible to fully play on a 2-inch (at best) display. Nevertheless, the experience is interesting, especially since he managed to install the Nintendo 64 emulator with PSP as well.

Actually, there are no problems with NES or Game Boy - both the software and hardware platform based on the Snapdragon 400 are able to support the work of a not-too-heavy emulator. But what about full 3D? Will it be possible to launch, for example, Ocarina of Time?

As for 3D Mario and Zelda - there are no problems, they all go quite smoothly on the smartwatch LG G-Watch. Everything is not so bad if all circumstances are taken into account. Yes, the toys slow down slightly, and you won’t be able to kill the final boss with buttons a few millimeters in size.

Now you can think of something even more abnormal than launching the Nintendo 64 emulator on the smartwatch OS. For example, launching a PSP emulator called PPSSPP (one of the most advanced game console emulators of this type, it should be noted). Here, of course, everything is much worse. For example, the Monster Hunter game loads the poor SD400 processor entirely. The gameplay here is more like slow-mo than a normal game.

In general, the author decided to dwell on this, proving that emulators work on smart watches, although, of course, it is simply impossible to play such toys. Even if nothing slows down, both the display and buttons are too small to enjoy the game.
